If you are managing five or more prescription medications you may be eligible for a FREE In-Store MedsCheck or Diabetes MedsCheck.
A MedsCheck is a service provided by our friendly Pharmacist’s which includes a review of the medicines you are taking and education to assist you with managing your medications. This service aims to help you to improve your medicine use with the goal of improved health outcomes.
Foote’s Pharmacies offer instore medication reviews for:
- People managing multiple medications
- People who have had a recent significant medical event
- Those that are taking a medication associated with an increased risk of side effects
- For people managing type 2 diabetes
In your private consultation, our Pharmacists will gather information and provide a comprehensive overview of your medicines. Diabetes MedsChecks will include additional training to help you improve control of your blood glucose levels and educate you in effectively using blood glucose monitoring devices.
