FOOTE'S TIPS

#1  Boost the benefits of greens by adding a small serve of

Nature's Way Greens Powder. It contains 10 servings

      of vegetables!

#2  Want to make it thicker and keep you fuller for longer?

Add a tablespoon of Bioglan Chia Seeds or breakfast oats

before you blend. Chia seeds are full of fibre, high in

protein and omega-3 fatty acids while oats also contain

dietary fibre including beta-glucan which has been known

      to lower cholesterol.

BANANA'S

Bananas are extremely healthy and delicious and provide a good healthy energy boost to your day. They contain several essential nutrients, and have benefits for digestion and heart health.  The average banana also has up to 10% of your daily fibre needs.

GREEK YOGHURT

Choose a full fat yoghurt that's unsweetened with nothing else added. Greek yoghurt is high in protein, can keep you feeling fuller for longer and it's also full of healthy probiotics aka good bacteria that can be highly beneficial for your digestive health.

WHY WE LOVE THIS SMOOTHIE:

SPINACH THE KING OF GREENS

Spinach and baby spinach is perfect for using in smoothies. Especially if you are not used to green smoothies, it's a lot more pleasurable on the taste buds when compared to more hard leaf greens like kale or silverbeet.

Spinach is such a healthy green, it's full of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, has an extremely high nutritional value and is rich in antioxidants. It is a good source of vitamins A, B2, C and K, and also contains magnesium, manganese, folate, iron, calcium and potassium.
